Friday, March 23rd – 24th – Lock-In 2018! The long-awaited Youth Lock-in is finally happening this weekend! This is usually our biggest shindig of the year and for good reason. Overnighters are always a great time to bond with one another and break away from the normal stuff of life. We’ll have drinks, chips, and […]

Be like Jesus and share your life with others.  We have invited Shepherd Community Blood Center’s Bloodmobile to come and take donations around our Sunday service. You will be able to donate from 9am until 1pm.

Come participate in an amazing demonstration/participation of the food and ceremony, as taught by a Messianic Jew, of the night of Passover.  Learn how this wonderful holiday relates to our Christian faith!  This event is 90 minutes long and will include childcare for ages 4 and under and for special needs children.

All are invited every last Saturday of the month to help mow, hack, trim, plant, edge, rake, and sweep our property.  Bring your lawnmower, edger, leaf blower, clippers, etc. and join us for some yardwork fun.

Right after our Sunday service, everyone’s invited to hang around and eat together in celebration of the mirth and gaiety that accompanies Jesus’ rising from the grave.  In lieu of our traditional Easter Potluck, join VCC for an Easter Picnic! Bring a blanket or tailgate and fellowship and make merry as we celebrate Jesus resurrection. […]

All are welcome to come be part of a night of worship at VCC. All musicians are invited to bring acoustic and percussive instruments as we worship together in a circle. This is a great time to soak in the presence of God and the church community.

Right after church service at noon. If you’re new at the church, you may be interested in finding out more about us. This meeting is designed to help you to know ‘where the bus is going’. Free lunch is included for all participants. Jeff will share the history and beginnings of VCC, where we’ve come since […]

Upcoming Events

We also meet every Sunday at 10:00 am to worship God together, and throughout the week in home groups all over the city. Please click the link to the left for a complete schedule of home groups.

Our Community

At VCC, we believe that church is not a function: it is a family. Our religion is only as alive as we are, the people that pursue it. So, rather than acting as an organization, we want to act as an organism. We have no time for casual contacts and meaningless formalities. We are a fellowship on an adventure towards the stuff of God. Church means worshipping God together, studying the Bible together, fixing our cars together, hiking together, eating together, playing together, praying together... enjoying the warmth of the Holy Spirit in all parts of our lives together, not just in appointed meeting times.
