Welcome to the Vineyard Community Church of Augusta, Georgia!
At VCC, we believe that church is not a function: it is a family.
Our religion is only as alive as we are. So, rather than acting as an organization, we want to act as an organism. We have no time for casual contacts and meaningless formalities. We are a fellowship on an adventure towards the stuff of God.
Church means worshipping God together, studying the Bible together, fixing our cars together, hiking together, eating together, playing together, praying together... enjoying the warmth of the Holy Spirit in all parts of our lives together, not just in appointed meeting times.
Thoughts from the Pastor
11/02 From milk to meat
It seems like yesterday when my firstborn son came into the world. Amidst the mess of soggy wet hair and infant shrieks (that I’m sure translated into “No! Put me back in!”), a little seven pound boy lay squirming in my arms. Nineteen years later we said our goodbyes at the US Air Force recruiting office; he was off to basic training and this time it was dad who was crying like a baby.
