Children's Church

Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic extra precautions are being taken to help provide a safe environment for kids activities by following CDC recommendations. This includes social distancing and encouraging mask use (for elementary students and all teachers). If you have any questions about current classes, please contact our children’s pastor, Vanessa Vannoy at  or .

Ministry to our children is of equal importance to ministry to adults. We offer a highly structured Sunday morning children’s church separated into different age groups for children of all ages. Here our children enjoy interaction, Bible lessons, games, and arts and crafts all designed to bring them to the arms of Jesus.

Our mission is to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ and minister to our children with unconditional love and grace while providing a safe and fun learning environment, where the children can grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ.

The following classes are available during our morning service:

Acorns –  Infants/Toddlers (Crawlers through 2 1/2 years old)
Sprouts – Preschool (2 1/2 years through Kindergarten)
Elementary – 1st through 5th Grade

We also have a new mom’s room with a live audio and video feed from the Sunday service so that you can hear what’s happening while caring for your infant.

Our Community

At VCC, we believe that church is not a function: it is a family. Our religion is only as alive as we are, the people that pursue it. So, rather than acting as an organization, we want to act as an organism. We have no time for casual contacts and meaningless formalities. We are a fellowship on an adventure towards the stuff of God. Church means worshipping God together, studying the Bible together, fixing our cars together, hiking together, eating together, playing together, praying together... enjoying the warmth of the Holy Spirit in all parts of our lives together, not just in appointed meeting times.
